The Von Bora Circle met in May to take care of Altar Guild duties. The group is eager to gather in June. All ladies are invited to join us on Tuesday, June 10th. Bring a sandwich for lunch -- dessert will be provided. Pastor Wiese and Martha have a couple of projects that they need our help with, and, of course, there are always altar duties that need attention. All are welcome!
The Naomi Circle met at church for a potluck supper and informative program by David Figiel. He shared information about the ministry and volunteer opportunities at the Hospitality Hub, a ministry for the homeless sponsored by area Downtown congregations.
We authorized expenditures for local and foreign ministries, including sponsoring Pentecost fruit baskets for shut-ins, and contributing towards mosquito nets for Doug Campbell’s mission trip to Tanzania.
We will observe “Ladies Night Out” and invite all ladies of the church to join us June 4th, 6 p.m. at the Olive Garden at Poplar and I-240 for a dutch-treat luncheon. We also will prepare and serve a reception for an organ recital by Martha Israel June 29th. We hope all Trinity members and friends will come to enjoy this program of organ music!
Retirees and all who are “young-at-heart” are cordially invited to join with others of like-mind on Wednesday, June 11 for a potluck lunch and the best fellowship around. Bring your favorite dish to Trinity at 11:45 a.m. And mark the date for the July get-together on your calendar now — Wednesday, July 9th All are welcome!
